  1. National Voter Registration Day

    St. Charles County residents will have an opportunity to celebrate their right to vote by registering or updating their voter records at a special event from 8 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Sept. 24 at the County’s Administration Building, 201 North Second Street in St. Charles. The event, to be held on National Voter Registration Day, is part of a continuing effort by the County Election Authority to make voter registration easier and more accessible. All residents who are U.S. citizens, Missouri residents and at least 17½ years of age, are encouraged to attend this special voter registration event on Sept. 24 to either register to vote or update their voting information. For more information about upcoming registration events or to learn more about elections, call the St. Charles County Election Authority at 636-949-7550 or visit sccmo.org/ElectionAuthority.

  1. Basic Sanitation Certification Class

    September 19, 2019, 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM @ Public Health

    Designed for owners, managers and employees of area food service providers, these classes will provide sanitation instruction for all food handlers. Anyone preparing, serving, transporting, warehousing, stocking or handling food in any manner should complete this course. Participants must earn a score of 70 or higher on a 50-question final examination to become certified.
    Please recognize that this class may be canceled or rescheduled if there is insufficient enrollment.

  2. CLOCK HOUR CLASS - Communicable Disease in Childcare

    Child Care providers will learn strategies to decrease the spread of communicable diseases in a childcare setting. Successful completion of this class will earn attendees 2 Clock Hour credits. You must register online at www.moworkshopcalendar.org prior to attendance. Per Missouri Department of Health guidelines, children, ages 16 and under, are not allowed to attend this training.

  4. Adult, Child and Infant First Aid, CPR and AED Certification

    September 28, 2019, 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM @ Public Health

    If someone stops breathing or their heart stops beating, immediate cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can provide life-saving help until medical professionals arrive. To spread the knowledge for proper procedure, the Department of Public Health teaches certification in adult, child and infant CPR and First Aid, as well as instruction in the usage of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). Upon successful completion of this one-day training, participants will receive an American Red Cross certification that is valid for up to two years. Class is limited to the first 20 registered participants.
