What forms of payment are accepted for court costs or bonds?
Court costs and bonds can be paid using cash, cashier’s check, money order, debit card, or credit card, at the Courthouse. The court accepts Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. It should be noted that there is a $3.00 minimum fee associated with the use of credit or debit card transactions up to $122.50. Anything over $122.50 is assessed a 2.45% fee. When posting bond at the jail (before 8:30 am or after 5:00 pm Monday-Friday, or on the weekend), there is a $3.00 fee associated with the use of the jail’s “ATM” style machine for cash transactions. Credit or debit card transactions assess a fee of 10%. The jail only accepts cash, MasterCard, or Visa as forms of payment.
