Other exhibits throughout the museum delve into the history of St. Charles County during the Colonial era and the War of 1812.

Thanks to a $5,000 Eat Smart in the Parks grant awarded by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, guests are making healthier choices at the concession stand at Kinetic Park. Instead of candy bars and chips, they are greeted with a new display case filled with wholesome, flavorful foods that promote good health. Some of the new healthier foods available at the concession stand in the park include fresh vegetables, yogurt, pudding, fruit cups, nuts, cheese and more! "Families who visit this popular, destination park participate in high-energy extreme sports, such as riding, skating, and climbing, so it is essential that healthier food and drink options are available on our menu," says Ryan Graham, Parks Director. The funds received from the grant were used to purchase a new double-door reach-in refrigerator and countertop refrigerated case that are being used to house and display the healthy food. Two LED screens also were purchased with the grant and display menus and photos of food choices.
