St. Charles County, Missouri – Beer lovers from across the region will gather in the heart of Missouri’s scenic wine country from noon–5 p.m., Saturday, May 19, for the 2nd annual Daniel Boone Home Brew Fest at The Historic Daniel Boone Home near Defiance. Get the perfect pour of more than 40 different Missouri beers brewed by homebrewers from across the state.
Presented by the St. Charles County Parks and Recreation Department, the Daniel Boone Home Brew Fest is open to guests 21 years and older. Missouri homebrewers and home brew clubs featured at the event include Augusta Brew Haus, Garage Brewers Society, Little Hills Home Brewers, STL Brewminati, Third Wheel Brewing, St. Charles Society of Brewers, Vintage Anglers, Beer Sauce Shop, Brewers True Value, The OG: St. Louis Women’s Craft Beer Collective, Jefferson County Home Brewers, and Arch Nemis Brewing.
Along with an afternoon of unlimited beer sampling, tickets include a souvenir tasting glass and tour of The Historic Daniel Boone Home. Participants will cast their vote for the “People’s Choice” Best Homebrew. The winning brewers will go home with bragging rights and a trophy.
The beer festival also features live entertainment with Silver Creek Bluegrass Band from noon–2 p.m., and Skylark Brothers Band from 2–5 p.m. Noto Pizza and Wingnut food trucks will be on site with tasty eats for purchase.
The Daniel Boone Home Brew Fest is limited to 500 attendees. Designated driver tickets are free and include a ticket to tour The Historic Daniel Boone Home.
The Historic Daniel Boone Home is located at 1868 Highway F, Defiance, Mo 63341, and overlooks the scenic Femme Osage Valley. The 300-acre site includes The Historic Daniel Boone Home, adjoining Village historic site, and surrounding property.
