St. Charles County, Missouri – Now you can reminisce about your high school glory days when you visit the High School Athletics exhibit at the Heritage Museum near St. Charles. Located on the second floor of the museum, the new vintage display, which opens Sunday, April 1, features an assortment of local high school sports team memorabilia, photos, trophies, and uniforms collected over the past 100 years. Admission is free!
Take a walk down memory lane and look back at the good old days of letterman jackets, football helmets, and yearbooks of the past. Be sure to take a close look at all the photos—you might just see a familiar face or two! Some of the artifacts featured in the museum were loaned to the Parks Department by the Academy of the Sacred Heart Archives and Duchesne High School.
This new exhibit is part of "Our Sporting Heritage," a hunting and sporting exhibit currently on display at the museum and is open to the public from 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Wednesday–Saturday, and noon.–5 p.m., Sundays.
For more information about the exhibit, call the museum at 626-255-6000.
