[ARCHIVED] Sunset Family Dog Walk Promotes Good Health for You and Your Canine

St. Charles County, Missouri - Bring the family, a flashlight and your furry friend to the park for a sunset walk, Saturday, Oct. 7 at Towne Park near Wentzville. Cost is $2 per family and all proceeds benefit the St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center.

Led by St. Charles County Park Rangers, the Sunset Family Dog Walk is from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. and promotes family interaction through movement and exercise with your dog. This fun program begins at the paved trail at shelter #1 in Towne Park, located off the Farris Rd. exit at I-61 near Wentzville. Participants will walk at a moderate pace after hours in the park.

Pre-registration required. Call or visit the St. Charles County Parks and Registration Department at 636-949-7535 or www.stccparks.org to register. To ensure everyone’s safety, participants walking a dog should be 16 years of age or older and in control of the dog at all times.
