St. Charles County, Missouri – Are you looking for a place to host an unforgettable event with family and friends this year? Now you can reserve the new Marksman Training Simulator at the St. Charles County Heritage Museum at Heritage Park near St. Charles. Imagine hunting big game and shooting skeet and clay targets at your own private get-together that’s fun for all ages and skill levels.
Donated by hunting enthusiast August A. Busch III, the interactive digital hunting simulator has the largest video shooting surface in the world and is one of only three of its kind in the United States.
In addition to hunting duck, deer, bear, boar and other big-game, the simulator tracks gun movement, detects proximity to the target and replays each shot!
This unique hunting experience is perfect for birthday parties, corporate events, gun club practice, scout events, and other special celebrations. The simulator rental fee is $75 per hour or $200 for three hours. Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance and are available every day except holidays. The rental includes the simulator room only. Refreshments and decorations are allowed inside the simulator room with permission prior to the event. To make a reservation for up to 25 guests, call the Parks Department at 636-949-7535.
