[ARCHIVED] Wilburn found Guilty of Statutory Rape & Sodomy

St. Charles County, Missouri - The Office of Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar announces that William Thomas Wilburn, 48, of St. Charles, was found guilty by a jury of three counts of statutory sodomy, one count of statutory rape and distributing a controlled substance to a minor.

Charges arose in May 2013 when Wilburn contacted a St. Louis County minor less than 14 years of age via a telephone chat service and brought the minor to his home in St. Charles where the above offenses were perpetrated. Wilburn is a registered sex offender who plead guilty in 2007 to statutory rape and statutory sodomy in St. Francois County.

Sentencing is set November 14, 2014 in front of the Honorable Ted House.
