St. Charles County, Missouri- The Office of Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar, in conjunction with the Wentzville Police Department, announces that on September 6, 2016, Daniel B. Hallmark, 54, of Wentzville was charged with two counts of statutory sodomy 2nd and one count of attempted enticement of a child.
The investigation revealed that beginning in November of 2014, Hallmark befriended the victim, who was a child under the age of 17, and enticed the victim by providing the victim gifts, helping the victim with homework and offering the victim money, and by providing the victim with alcohol. Additionally, the investigation revealed that Hallmark forced the victim to engage in certain sexual acts, which constituted the elements of the offenses in the charges filed.
The investigation remains ongoing in particular as to whether there may be any additional victims. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Wentzville Police Department at (636) 327-5105.
The defendant is currently in custody with a $50,000.00 cash only bond.
