St. Charles County, Missouri – The St. Charles County Highway Department will be conducting bridge work on Pitman Hill Road. Work on the bridge, which is located approximately 1,250’ south of Route 364 near Chadwick Lane, is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, June 16.

The work will include patching of the concrete deck and will require that one lane of the bridge be closed while the work takes place. Two-way traffic will be maintained through the work zone with the use of temporary traffic signals, but travel delays may still occur. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes while the work takes place and are advised to use caution while traveling through the work zone.
The first phase of the work is expected to be completed in 7-10 days, after which time work will move to the other half of the bridge. The second phase of work is also expected to be completed in 7-10 days.
