The St. Charles County Highway Department continues to work to replace a storm sewer pipe on Valley Road between Spur Drive and Highland Drive. It is anticipated the road will be closed through Aug. 18, rather than through Aug. 16, as previously announced.
Traffic is required to use an alternate route around the closure while work occurs. Local traffic can access either side of the closure location, but no through traffic is permitted. Signs notifying motorists of the closure are posted.
This road project is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the County’s road system for the safety of the travelling public.
