[ARCHIVED] O’Keefe Sentenced to 15 Years for Involuntary Manslaughter

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MISSOURI- The Office of Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar announces that Joshua O’Keefe, 40, of Troy, MO was he was sentenced on February 7, 2022 to 15 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. 

Charges arose on Sunday, August 30, 2020 when O’Keefe and the victim were traveling on Interstate 64 at a high rate of speed.  Both vehicles exited the highway and stopped on the right shoulder.  Both O’Keefe and the victim exited their vehicles and O’Keefe struck the victim several times with his fists.  The victim lost consciousness and O’Keefe placed him back into his own vehicle.  O’Keefe left the scene without calling 911.  The victim later died as the result of the attack.

O’Keefe was sentenced by the Honorable Michael Fagras.
