St. Charles County, Missouri – The St. Charles County Highway Department will close Dalbow Road 0.8 miles east of Highway 79 on Monday, April 26, 2021, to allow for removal and replacement of a deteriorated culvert.
Traffic will be required to use an alternate route around the closure from 8 a.m., Monday, April 26, through 4:30 p.m., Thursday, April 29, while the culvert is replaced. Local traffic will be able to access either side of the closure location, but no through traffic will be permitted. The detour route includes portions of Highway 79 and Firma Road. Signs notifying motorists of the closure and necessary detours will be posted. All work is weather permitting.
This road project is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the County’s road system for the safety of the travelling public.
