St. Charles County, Missouri — The St. Charles County Highway Department closed a portion of Jungs Station Road half a mile south of Upper Bottom Road on Thursday, April 30, 2020, to make emergency repairs. Work involves the stabilization of a retaining wall and pavement repairs due to heavy rain and is now expected to be complete by Wednesday evening, May 6, 2020.
Jungs Station and Greens Bottom roads are open on either side of the closure, but no traffic is allowed through the construction. Changeable message boards and detour route signage are in the area. Motorists will continue to be directed to use Willow Bend Drive, Eagles Hill Ridge, and Caulks Hill Road to detour around the closure.
This road project is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the County’s road system for the safety of the travelling public.
