St. Charles County, Missouri –The Youth Activity Park in Dardenne Prairie will be “Shamrockin’ and Rollin’” from 12 – 3 p.m., Saturday, March 21 in honor of St. Patrick’s Day! Bring the family out to one of the St. Charles County Parks Department’s newest family events and enjoy a free afternoon concert in the park.
The Whiskey Raccoons, a St. Louis-based band, will play original songs and covers that include a wide range of popular music from the 60s to today. And don’t forget to wear your favorite green attire; the guest with the most creative outfit will take home a door prize.
Participants of all ages are welcome, and admission is free. A bounce house for children will be on-site (weather permitting) and adults 21 and older can purchase a variety of craft beer from Third Wheel Brewing’s beer garden. Pizza and a variety of snacks and beverages will be available for purchase from the YAP Café.
In case of inclement weather the day of the event, the concert and beer garden will be moved indoors. For more information, call the Youth Activity Park at 636-561-4964.
While there, participants are encouraged to take advantage of the 33,000-square-foot skate/bike course in the park – the largest of its kind in Missouri.
