[ARCHIVED] Section of Femme Osage Creek Road Closed Due to Storm Damage

Femme Osage Creek road closure

August 26, 2019

St. Charles County, Missouri ­– The St. Charles County Highway Department has closed a section Femme Osage Creek Road between Cappeln Osage Road and Becker-Joerling Road that washed out this morning, Monday, Aug. 26, 2019, due to heavy rain. The closure is between 597 Femme Osage Creek Road and the entrance to Schiermeier Quarry at 600 Femme Osage Creek Road.

Repairs to the road will take several days after water recedes; an opening date is still to be determined. Local traffic can access either side of the closure location, but no through traffic will be permitted. As a reminder, motorists are advised not to drive through closed and/or flooded roads.
