St. Charles County, Missouri – The St. Charles County Highway Department will close a section of Femme Osage Creek Road between Cappeln Osage Road and Becker-Joerling Road, weather permitting, on Monday, July 29, 2019, to allow for removal and replacement of a deteriorated culvert. The closure will be located between 597 Femme Osage Creek Road and the entrance to Schiermeier Quarry at 600 Femme Osage Creek Road.
Traffic will be required to use an alternate route around the closure for approximately four days from 6:30 a.m., Monday, July 29, to 4 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 1, while the culvert is replaced. Local traffic can access either side of the closure location, but no through traffic will be permitted. Signs notifying motorists of the closure and necessary detours will be posted.
This road project is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the County’s road system for the safety of the travelling public.
