St. Charles County, Missouri – The St. Charles County Parks and Recreation Department is celebrating summer with a free outdoor concert and family entertainment! Join us for Blues and BBQ at the Museum from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Aug. 9, at Heritage Museum, 1630 Heritage Landing in St. Peters.
Bring a lawn chair and your appetite! StLouisianaQ will begin selling its award-winning BBQ at 6 p.m. and local blues favorite, the Rum Drum Ramblers, will start entertaining guests at 6:30 p.m. Guests are welcome to bring a cooler filled with beverages, but no glass is allowed in the park. Picnic tables also will be available for use.
The museum will stay open late during the concert and admission is free! Come inside and tour the current exhibitions that showcase recreation and sports, including displays about St. Charles County’s hunting and fishing heritage, high school amateur sports, the St. Charles County Amateur Sports Hall of Fame, Major League Baseball Players from St. Charles County and the exhibit’s popular Marksman Training Simulator that was donated by hunting enthusiasts August A.
