St. Charles County, Missouri – The public is invited to celebrate the arrival of spring at St. Charles County Parks’ Family Hike and Campfire from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, March 30, at Broemmelsiek Park, located at 1795 Highway DD, Defiance. Springtime is the perfect season to explore the park, listen for sounds of animals in the woods, and discover native flora along the way.
Get your family and friends together for an evening of fun in the park! Participants should meet at the Hilltop Group Area and dress for the weather. We’ll take a short hike, roast marshmallows, make s’mores, learn a few campfire tunes and tell a funny story or two.
The program is $1 per person, but pre-registration is required by calling the Parks Department at 636-949-7535 or signing up online at http://bit.ly/2019FamilyHikeandCampfire.
