St. Charles County, Missouri – Bring your family heirlooms, personal treasures, and oral histories to St. Charles County Parks’ newest program, Show and Tell at the Museum, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 14, at the St. Charles County Heritage Museum near St. Charles. This program gives the public an opportunity to show their keepsakes and tell stories about them in an informal, fun setting.

Prized possessions or heirlooms can be anything with sentimental value. From personal antiques to family jewelry to precious photos, participants can reveal the story each cherished treasure tells. Historic photos of St. Charles County, objects related to history, and conversation pieces also are encouraged at this ‘pop-up style’ museum style program.

Those who don’t have items to share are invited to attend as well. The program will feature a behind-the-scenes look at some possessions from the County collection not on display at the museum. Light refreshments will be provided.

The Heritage Museum is conveniently located at 1630 Heritage Landing, near the Page Avenue Extension. There is no charge to visit the museum and attend the program. Participants who want to bring an item to share for the day must pre-register prior to the event by calling the museum at 636-255-6000 or register online at http://bit.ly/2019ShowAndTellAtTheMuseum.
