St. Charles County, Missouri – The St. Charles County Highway Department will hold an informational open house from 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 11, regarding improvements planned for David Hoekel Parkway #1B/South Point Prairie Road. The meeting will be held at the Wentzville R-IV School District Office, 280 Interstate Drive in Wentzville.
Improvements to the road will be from near Cedar Branch Lane to just north of the intersection at Route N and will include realignment of the existing roadway to improve safety of curves; new paved shoulders and sight distance improvements; and updates to drainage facilities. A preliminary plan by the consulting firm of Horner & Shifrin will be shared at the meeting and residents are encouraged to view the plan and provide comments.
