St. Charles County, Missouri – The St. Charles County Highway Department has reopened the portion of Hepperman Road between Peruque Creek and Golf Club Drive in that was restricted to one-way traffic in August. Construction is nearly complete on the addition of new pavement and shoulders.
“We are glad to have this phase of the construction behind us,” says County Engineer Craig Tajkowski. “It was challenging due to the significant horizontal and vertical changes made to the roadway. Some additional asphalt work remains and delays may be encountered, so we encourage motorists to drive slowly and cautiously through this active construction zone.”
This road project is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the County’s road system for the safety of the traveling public.
