[ARCHIVED] Moore Found Guilty by Jury of Murder 2nd Degree

St. Charles County, Missouri- The Office of Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar announces that Lydell M. Moore, 40, of St. Charles, MO, was found guilty by a jury for one count of Murder in the 2nd Degree.

Charges arose in August 2014 when Moore was attending his family’s reunion at Blanchette Park. Moore, called the co-defendant who had been in an on-going feud with the victim, to advise the victim was at the park. Moore left and picked up the co-defendant who brought a weapon that had been provided by Moore. Once back at the park, the co-defendant made contact with the victim and shot him in the chest. Morrison took off on foot and was picked up by Moore. There were approximately 300 people in the park.

Moore is set for sentencing on December 7, 2018 in front of the Honorable Ted House.
