St. Charles County, Missouri – Enjoy a day of old-time music, outdoor festivities and usher in autumn with the St. Charles County Parks and Recreation Department at our Fall Harvest Festival, Saturday, Oct. 13, at Broemmelsiek Park near the Wentzville/Defiance area. There will be plenty of activities for the entire family and admission and demonstrations are FREE!

Join us from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Agriculture Education Area of the park to explore wreath and bird feeder making; historic demonstrations including blacksmithing, woodworking, fiber arts/spinning and sorghum pressing; and participate in hands-on activities, such as paper marbling. The IL-MO Tractor Club will have a wide selection of antique farm equipment and machinery on display and provide demonstrations.

Guests can even learn how to make a batch of good old-fashioned apple butter and taste samples of homemade apple cider. Parks staff and vendors will be selling pumpkins, Bob’s Honey, vegetables from St. Charles Farmer’s Market, as well as a variety of historical toys and candy from the general store tent. And Noto Pizza will be on site selling their popular wood fired pizza.

Scenic hayrides through the park will take place every 20 minutes and live folk music will be played throughout the day. Our 3-acre corn maze is a bit more challenging this year and available for guests to enjoy.

No registration required! For more information about the Fall Harvest Festival, call the St. Charles County Parks and Recreation Department at 636-949-7535 or visit stccparks.org. For program status information, check our Rainout Line on our website or call 636-707-0011.
