St. Charles City Police Department and St. Charles City Fire Department Partner with C.R.U.S.H. to host Heroin Walk and Public Safety Event
St. Charles County, Missouri –Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar has united with the St. Charles City Police Department and the St. Charles City Fire Department on behalf of C.R.U.S.H. (Community Resources United to Stop Heroin) to host a community Heroin Walk along with a Public Safety Event. While we want to reflect on the ramifications of abuse, we also want to promote the empowerment of prevention. This is an opportunity for the community to come together and promote “not even once.”
WHY: The goal of the walk is to bring awareness and educate our St. Charles County residents and spread the message about the dangers of heroin/opiates and the ongoing epidemic that has affected so many in our region.
WHAT: 2018 Walk to Stop Heroin
One-mile walk, food trucks
The first 500 participants to register will receive a free t-shirt.
