Visit and take photos with Santa Claus and welcome a new pet into your home this holiday. All dog and cat adoptions are $30 during the event, and senior pets or those who've been at the shelter longer than 30 days can be adopted for $10.
A visit with St. Nick gets everyone into the Christmas spirit, and the St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center guarantees that your pets aren’t left in the cold. The Santa Paws event at the Pet Adoption Center offers:
- Pet and family photos with Santa Claus. (Photos are free for those who adopt at the event. Donations will be accepted for photos with current pets.)
- Dog, puppy, cat and kitten adoptions for $30 (a $30 discount).
- Senior pets (dogs and cats older than 7 years of age), pets who’ve been at the shelter longer than 30 days and rabbit adoptions for $10.
- Adoptions include a health examination, initial vaccinations, spay/neuter service and microchipping.
- Gift bags for the first 20 adopted animals (10 for dogs and 10 for cats).
- Discussions and demonstrations by professional dog and cat trainers.
