FUZZY NANA SMOOTHIE
Our January Healthy Eats treat brings a taste of summer to break up the winter blahs. Watch and see how easy it is to make our Fuzzy Nana Smoothie:
1 cup frozen peaches, chopped
1/2 medium frozen/fresh banana, sliced
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup (4 ounces) plain, non-fat yogurt
1/2 cup non-fat milk
- Put all ingredients into a blender.
- Blend ingredients on low setting until smooth.
- Chill mixture in refrigerator until ready to serve.
- Pour into 8 ounce glass and serve cold.
Recipe makes two, 8 ounce servings. Each serving contains:
7 grams protein
29 grams carbohydrates
1.2 grams fat
74 milligrams sodium
2.1 grams fiber
