St. Charles County may be the wealthiest in Missouri, but this doesn’t mean our citizens are immune to life’s difficulties. Fortunately, the “neighbors helping neighbors” mentality is a way of life here, and there are amazing local nonprofits and social service agencies that provide tremendous support. Did you know your County Government helps, too? Through fee revenue and securing federal grants, the County works to help citizens in need every day.

East-West Gateway Accepting Public Comments on New Ramps at Heritage Crossing

East-West Gateway Council of Governments is taking public comments until July 24 regarding transportation projects currently being evaluated for St. Charles County. This includes new ramps at Heritage Crossing. Comments regarding your perception of traffic flow in this area is greatly appreciated.

Support Your Local Produce Stands and Farmers Markets

Midwest summers can be brutal as we have experienced. However, the warm weather comes with a bonus: an abundance of fruits and vegetables to enjoy. Produce stands and farmers markets are often year ‘round operations, but at this time of year these businesses thrive. We are fortunate to have them in our area – there’s nothing like fresh produce in the summer, and your support benefits local farmers, entrepreneurs, the economy and our community as a whole.
