Local Highway, Route Construction Information from MoDOT

5-16-19

MoDOT crews will close one lane in each direction of Route 370 at Route 94 late Friday night, May 17. This work will begin impacting rush hour travel on Monday and commuters should plan for delays those times. One lane will remain closed around-the-clock until fall.

The work will be done in multiple stages, which will require the closed lane to shift every few weeks and lanes to be narrowed throughout the construction zone. There could also be additional overnight lane closures where only one lane of traffic is open. The lane closures are necessary so crews can rehabilitate the bridges over Route 94.

One lane on the I-70 North Outer Road between Sonderen and the Fort Zumwalt School District Administration building will be closed starting March 21 for about four months. The lane will be closed after morning rush hour and will remain closed around-the-clock while crews work to create the new tie-in from the North Outer Road and Route K. The closure is part of the I-70 Traffic Flow Improvement project. For more information on the project visit https://www.ofallon.mo.us/i-70-improvements-project.

Starting today, the T.R. Hughes ramp to westbound I-70 will be closed. The ramp will be relocated as part of the I-70 improvement project going on between T.R. Hughes and Route K. The new, relocated ramp will reopen later this year. Drivers can detour around the ramp closure by either taking the I-70 North Outer Road (East Terra) to Route K or taking Mexico to Route K. Please allow extra time while using these detour routes as the extra traffic could cause delays.
