About the Park


Quail Ridge Park is 262 acres of rolling pastures, wooded hillsides, and rich bottom land near Peruque Creek. There are more than 7 miles of natural surface and paved trails that wind throughout Quail Ridge Park.

Voted "Best Wedding Destination" by local brides, the cedar banquet facility and gazebo in the park have become popular places for many couples to tie the knot.

The 2.5-acre Off-Leash Dog Area is also a well-known site for many pet enthusiasts to take their dogs for a day of fun.

With an 18-hole disc golf course and the home of the National Horseshoe Pitchers Hall of Fame, Quail Ridge Park is a favored destination to visit.

A large group picnic area in the park is the perfect place for a company picnic or family gathering. The 3-acre lake and small fishing pond stocked with bluegill, bass, and catfish is an attractive spot for many anglers year around.


  • From Interstate 70, exit onto Interstate 64 (Highway 40 / 61 south).
  • At Prospect Road, turn right and continue to Duello Road.
  • Turn right on Duello (becomes Quail Ridge Parkway) and continue to the park entrance on the left (about 1 mile).
