Augusta Bottom Road Bridge

The project involves the replacement of a deficient steel girder bridge on Augusta Bottom Road over a tributary to the Missouri River, located 0.5 miles east of Emke Road. Proposed improvements include:

  • New widener structure to provide for 12-foot lanes and 4-foot shoulders.
  • Realignment to allow old bridge to remain in place while new structure is constructed.

The project is funded by St. Charles County’s ½-cent Transportation Sales Tax and with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Surface Transportation Program-Suballocated (STP-S) funding. The project is estimated to cost approximately $730,000.
