This project involves the development of a new roadway corridor for the future expansion of Route N. Proposed improvements include:
- Widen and realign the two intersecting roadways of South Point Prairie Road and Bucker Road to develop a new Route N roadway corridor.
- New 2-lane roadway with 12-foot lanes and 6-foot shoulders.
- New roadway alignment to remove several 90-degree curves.
The project is fully funded by the St. Charles County’s ½-cent Transportation Sales Tax. The engineering design consultant is Oates Associates and the project is estimated to cost approximately $2.5M.

Current Phase
Right-of-way plans have been approved and right-of-way acquisition work had started; however, plans are now being revised by Oates Associates to better match the results of MoDOT's Route N Environmental and Location Study. The project limits have also been extended approximately one mile farther to the east along Buckner Road.
