Final Plat

How Do I Apply?

Please visit the Land Development & Zoning Applications section of our Citizenserve Citizen Access Portal.

When is a Final Plat Required?
Following approval of the Preliminary Plat and any necessary Subdivision Improvement Plan, Final Subdivision Plats are submitted to County staff for processing, including review by outside agencies. When Final Plats substantially conform to the approved Preliminary Plat, the Final Plat may be approved for recording with the signatures of the Planning and Zoning Division Director and the Chairperson or Secretary of the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Final Plats must be prepared by a land surveyor or engineer licensed by the State of Missouri and must at a minimum include the plat information specified in Section 410.210 and accompanied by written statements required by Section 410.220 of the Unified Development Ordinance.

Fees

The County charges no fees to process Final Subdivision Plats.
