    Qualifying pet owners will receive dry dog or cat food on a first-come, first-served basis. To qualify, pet owners must:

    • Register in advance by calling 636-949-7387 and present identification proving St. Charles County residency
    • Show proof of need
    • Show proof of current rabies vaccination for each animal covered or update the animal's shot record at the time of registration.
    • Show proof that the animal is altered or make arrangements to do so at the time of registration.
    • Bring a container large enough to carry at least three pounds of food.

  2. Health Dept - Presidents' Day Holiday (Observed)

This includes all services provided at the department offices at 1650 Boones Lick Road in St. Charles, the Pet Adoption Center/Division of Humane Services at 4850 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters, Recycle Works Central at 60 Triad South Drive in St. Charles, and Recycle Works West at 2110 East Pitman Avenue in Wentzville.

  3. CLOCK HOUR CLASS - Communicable Diseases in Childcare

    February 21, 2018, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM @ Middendorf-Kredell Library branch

    Child care providers will learn strategies to decrease the spread of communicable diseases in a childcare setting. Successful completion of this class will earn attendees 2 Clock Hour credits. You must register online at www.moworkshopcalendar.org prior to attendance. Per Missouri Department of Health guidelines, children, ages 16 and under, are not allowed to attend this training.

  4. MRC Membership Meeting and Training

    In times of need, many lend their neighbors a helping hand. St. Charles County's Medical Reserve Corps is a volunteer-based unit or medically trained and non-medical professionals alike who put their knowledge and skills to use in helping our community. The Department of Public Health sponsors the local MRC unit. Monthly meetings are designed to prepare members for all-hazard emergencies. Discussions include the various roles within the County's emergency response plan, hands-on training opportunities and advanced certifications. Membership is open to any individual, ages 18 or older.
