St. Charles County, Missouri – The St. Charles County Highway Department will close May Road between Bear Creek Drive and Winding Creek Drive beginning Monday, April 3, 2017, to allow for removal and replacement of a deteriorating box culvert. This work is being performed in anticipation of further roadway improvements.
Traffic will be required to use a detour route around the closure for approximately one week while the culvert is replaced. Local traffic can access either side of the closure location, but no through traffic will be permitted. Signs notifying motorists of the closure and the necessary detour will be posted.
This road project is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the County’s road system for the safety of the traveling public.
