Kisker and Pitman Hill Roads Park Committee

A new County park is currently under construction on the northeast side of Pitman Hill Road and extending to Kisker Road. Ordinance 17-068 created a nine member committee to recommend an appropriate way to honor those from St. Charles County killed in action, including the possibility of naming of the new park and/or erection within that park of some suitable memorial that will include the names of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The committee will report back its recommendation to the County Executive and County Council within 90 days of its first meeting. The committee will cease to exist upon delivery of its recommendation.

The committee meeting schedule and opportunities for public comment are provided below.

Meetings are open to the public and will be held at 7 p.m. in the Community Commons area of the St. Charles City-County Library District, Spencer Road Branch, located at 427 Spencer Road, Room 243, St. Peters, MO 63376.
